Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular trekking areas in Nepal. This 10-day Annapurna Base Camp trek takes you right into the heart of the Annapurna Mountains and returns via a small circuit route that provides amazing northward mountain views and returns to the southward of the journey.

Highlights of the trek are the remarkable Annapurna Base Camp/Annapurna Sanctuary, where you will be surrounded by the western peaks of the great Annapurna range, including Machapuchare (Fishtail), Ganagapurna, Annapurna South, Annapurna 1, Hiunchuli and more, all arranged almost perfectly in a circle about 15 kilometers in diameter with a deep glacier-covered amphitheater in the centre.

Annapurna Base Camp trek visit another popular route Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, offering unparalleled mountain views and some perfect photo opportunities. There are certainly some challenging days to reach an altitude of 4130 meters, including rocky trails and an ascent of 3000 stone steps to Ulleri, but your efforts will be rewarded by the majestic mountains, all the way to Annapurna Base Camp, with a wide range of different and exciting landscapes.

Arrive in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu airport, after completing your custom formalities Visa, etc. pick up your luggage and look for our Magical Summits representative who displays your name on the board at the arrival gate. Our representative will welcome you and you will be transferred to your hotel.

Drive to Nayapul (approx. 8 hrs.) and trek to Hille/Ulleri

We will drive from Kathmandu to directly Nayapul by mini Toyota Hiace, we will follow the Prithvi Highway, which connects Kathmandu and Pokhara. It passes almost parallel to the Trisuli River during the first half of the journey, and the mighty Himalaya come closer into view.

Once we arrived at Nayapul, we begin our trek at Nayapul. After short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti, a large village that has many shops and teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village.

The trek route follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1460 meters and after the short climb, we reach at Hille.

Today’s walk offers a short and relatively easy day, which allows us to become used to the experience of trekking in Nepal.

Trek to Ghorepani.

After breakfast set off to walk about 6 hours to reach Ghorepani. We start our walk with a steep climb to Ulleri. This is a large Magar village at 2070 meters. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine oak and rhododendron forests towards Banthanti.

Then we will trek towards Nangethanti. After about an hour of walking this brings you to Ghorepani at 2840 meters.

Sunrise at Poon hill and trek to Tadapani / Chuli

Start off with a wakeup call early in the morning and begin your hike in just about an hour to Poon Hill. This is a spiritual place that offers magnificent scenery, especially when the sun rising golden light, to name a few, on nearby snow-covered peaks such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and Singa Chuli. Grab a cup of coffee masala tea enjoy the mesmerizing views with your fellow trekkers.

You’ll then come back downhill to Ghorepani for a breakfast before continuing a trekking towards the Tadapani/Chuli village. Along the path towards Tadapani, we climb along the ridges and through the rhododendron and pine forests to Deurali (2960meters). After that we go down to the Banthanti, then we turn off to Tadapani

Trek to Sinuwa

We will descend through the oak and rhododendron forests, arriving at Chhomrong for lunch at midday. Chhomrong is the Gurung Village, the highest permanent settlement in the valley. This village offers you a vast view of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.

Crossing the Khola Chhomrong. We will climb high above Modi Khola, travel to its west bank, and pass through bamboo, rhododendron, and oak forests, and finally arrive for an overnight stay at Sinuwa.

Trek to Deurali

We start with an easy walk from Sinuwa, passing via settlements like Bamboo and Kuldhigar. Then a long steep stone staircase is going to talk to Dovan crossing the suspension bridge.

The trail is accompanied by the Rhododendron and Oak forests. Then a steep climb continues through the valley towards the Himalayas and Hinku cave, and finally we reach Deurali. Overnight at Deurali.

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp

On the 7th day of our trek, we finally arrive at the Annapurna Base Camp, about 5-hour hike from Deurali. After breakfast, passing Bagar along the Modi River in the east, hike up a difficult walk until the Machapuchhre Base Camp. Here we’re going to rest for a while, enjoying the spectacular view that surrounding us.

Leaving Machapuchhre base camp, we are now walking along the snow-capped peaks of 7000-8000 metres. We finally reach the South Annapurna Base Camp with the most brilliant view of the snow-capped mountains. The night will be spent in a lodge at the Annapurna Base Camp.

Trek descend back to Sinuwa

After enjoying the stunning beauty, we head down from the Base Camp and follow the route we took to ascend, walking down to Deurali, Dovan and finally to Sinuwa.

Along the way, we’ll pass numerous waterfalls, forest and, of course, be surrounded by a beautiful scenery of hills and peaks. Upon reaching Sinuwa, we’ll check in at our lodge and spend the night there. Overnight at lodge.

Trek down to Siwai and drive to Pokhara.

The hike from Sinuwa to Siwai passing through the beautiful villages of Chommrong, Jhinu and Kyumi. Follow the Modi Khola to the prosperous village of Ghandruk. The northern views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare are view along the route.

When you reach Siwai, you’ll be taken to Pokhara City, spend the night in Pokhara and enjoy the delights of Pokhara, take a spa massage or listen to live music. Or just relax in a quiet café, a restaurant overlooking Lake Fewa.

Drive to Kathmandu.

Drive to Kathmandu.

Today, we drive back to Kathmandu. It will take about 6 hours, overland journey by tourist coach. And the gentle light brings us on our way back to the bustle of Nepal’s capital.

In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner in a typical Nepalese restaurant with culture show.

Today is rest and relax throughout the day or say goodbye to Nepal. Enjoy your final moments in Kathmandu with a city stroll or souvenir shopping.

Our representative will meet you at your hotel and drive you to the airport for your return flight home.
