Nepal and Bhutan Tour
Our Nepal and Bhutan tour can be offered as private luxury travel packages for couples on honeymoon, baby boomers, for family holidays and it can be arranged to coincide with festival dates.
On our 10-day journey we get a glimpse of Nepal while spending most of our time in the Land of the Thunder Dragon, Bhutan, and this tour will get to know the unparalleledbeauty of nature and aged old cultures of the two great Himalayan Kingdoms.
The tour starts from the magical city of Kathmandu including ancient temples palaces to the last Shangri-La, Bhutan to explore cultural cities of Paro and Thimphu with a hike to Tiger’s Nest.

Kathmandu Tour
The tour begins with an exploration of the Kathmandu Valley from the Ason bazaar vegetable and spice markets, which offers Nepalese people with vivid local life. Continue your visit further ahead to Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will see the Kumari Templ, which houses the living Goddess and also have an external view of Taleju Temple. In the afternoon, head to Patan City (a 15-minute drive) to visit Patan Durbar Square, one of the Kathmandu Valley’s three Durbar Squares. Visit Swayambhunath, a stupa on the top of a hill offering a panorama of Kathmandu city.
Later in the afternoon visit the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where you can observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries surrounding the stupa.
Optional: If the weather is good, you may take an optional flight trip to see Mt. Everest & Himalaya up close in the morning, which takes approximately one hour, and guarantees windows for all seats.

Kathmandu to Pokhara
Today is a trip on the road. After your breakfast, youwill be transferred by private vehicle to Pokhara. It is also known for its panoramic views of Annapurna and Machapuchare (Fishtail) in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west and Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the south, Pokhara is a lovely city on the banks of the Fewa Lake. It’s lower than Kathmandu and much less hectic.

Pokhara Discovery
Today, you’ll have a day private tour of Pokhara, Nepal’s second largest city. Pokhara is the paradise of adventure and leisure, laid out alongside a lake and encircled by the stunning mountain scenery of the Annapurna Range.
Morning take a boat ride to experience the charm and serenity of Fewa Lake. Then hike up to World Peace Pagoda (45 mins), a perfect viewpoint which provides a panoramic view of Pokhara, Annapurna range and Fewa Lake. Followed by the visit to Devi’s Fall, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave, and International Mountain Museum (optional).

Pokhara to Kathmandu
Today begins a bit earlier for your tour to the Sarangkot viewpoint over the Annapurna peaks for the unforgettable sunrise.
Then we fly back to Kathmandu, afternoon take a leisure walk around Thamel, a heaven for tourists visiting the city including its fascinating streets.
Optional: in the evening with a cultural show of traditional Nepalese dinner and dancing.

Kathmandu - Paro to Thimphu
In the morning, you will be escorted by our representative to the airport for your flight to Bhutan. Upon your arrival in Paro airport, you will be greeted by your local tour guide and transferred to Thimphu (50km, 1hr) the capital.Pass by Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge en route.
Once your hotel check-in, have lunch at a local restaurant. Then visit the National Memorial Chorten, giant Buddha Dordenma Statue. Thimphu Dzong (Trashicho Dzong), Thimphu’s largest religious building, as well as the seat of the central government, ends today.

Thimphu to Punakha
Leave Thimphu behind today, and head toward Punakha. To have a coffee break, stop at Dochula Pass and admire the wonderful 108 Stupas. And take in the enchanting views of Mt. Himalaya, if weather permits. Continue driving to Punakha and have lunch at a local restaurant en route before approx. 2-hour walking tour to Chimmi Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to the Devine Madman and a sacred place where people pray for children.
The 2-hour walk provides spectacular views of paddy fields and countryside. Next, the highlight is Punakha Dzong, a beautiful Bhutanese architecture, armed with rich Buddhist collections by the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers. You will also visit the nearby Suspension Bridge, Bhutan’s longest bridge, offering different angles to see the elegant Punakha Dzong.

Punakha to Paro
Drive back to Paro (about 4 hrs.) and start the tour today with Paro Dzong, perhaps the finest example of Bhutanese architecture as well as a local administrative religious center.
Visit TaDzong later, an ancient watchtower, the National Museum with abundant culture relics. Next, go to one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, Kyichu Lhakhang, and end up at a local farmhouse where you can chat with locals, see how they live and taste some homemade wine.

Discover Paro
Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) this morning, be amazed by the view of this sacred temple hanging on the rocky cliff, and take in the beauty of the Paro Valley. Then, pass to the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, built to commemorate the victory of Bhutan over the invaders of Tibet. If in good weather, you will see a great view of Mount Chomolhari.
